Xavi anuncia su salida como director técnico del Barcelona

TÉCNICO CULÉ INDICÓ A MEDIOS LOCALES QUE DEJARÁ EL EQUIPO A FINAL DE TEMPORADA EL PRÓXIMO 30 DE JUNIO

Xavi Hernández anunció su salida como director técnico del Barcelona, esto con efecto para el próximo 30 de junio, cuando termina oficialmente la temporada del conjunto blaugrana.

Esto se da después de lo que el estratega refirió como una decisión consentida entre la directiva y cuerpo técnico y anunciada al final del partido que los ‘Culés’ perdieron 5-3 ante Villarreal en LaLiga.

“Quiero anunciar que el 30 de junio no seguiré como entrenador. Hemos estado hablando con el presi (Joan Laporta), Rafa Yuste, Alejando Echevarría, Deco (los miembros de la comisión deportiva) y el ‘staff’, y creemos que la situación merece un cambio de rumbo”, ha explicado en rueda de prensa.

“Como culé, no puedo permitir esta situación. El club necesita un cambio de dinámica, y esto liberará a los jugadores. Jugamos con demasiada tensión”, resumió.

Xavi afirmó que se siente “el máximo responsable” de la actual “dinámica muy negativa” del equipo, de la que dijo “muchas veces” no tener “explicación”, y comentó que tiene la sensación de “hacer lo correcto”, actuando “con sentido común”.

“No quiero ser una rémora para el club. Quiero ser siempre una solución, y el club me tendrá para lo que necesite. Seguiré hasta el 30 de junio, así lo he acordado con el presidente”, comentó el todavía entrenador del Barcelona, que contó en la sala de prensa con el apoyo de su mujer Nuria Cunillera y de su hermano y asistente Óscar Hernández.

El preparador egarense, siempre en un tono firme y sereno, declaró que “hay que ser valientes y no agarrarse al cargo” y que, si hubiera ganado al Villarreal, “quizás” hoy no habría anunciado su decisión de dejar el banquillo en verano, “pero seguramente sí la semana que viene”.

“Ser entrenador del Barça es desagradable y cruel. Sientes que te faltan el respeto muchas veces, que no te valoran el trabajo, y esto es un desgaste terrible a nivel de salud mental, de estado de ánimo. Soy un tío muy positivo, pero la energía va bajando hasta un punto en el que dices que no tiene sentido continuar”, confesó.

Xavi explicó que la conversación con el presidente Laporta fue “muy humana” y que “a día de hoy mostraba total confianza” en él, pero insistió en que era el momento de anunciar su adiós y confió en que esto “ayudará a que la dinámica (del equipo) cambie”.

Eso es lo que le hace ser “mucho más optimista” para lo que queda de curso, aunque admitió que competir por el título de Liga será “muy difícil”.

“He sido un hombre de club. He priorizado al club por encima de mí. Lo he dado todo y más, y voy a seguir dándolo para ganar títulos o como mínimo que la afición se sienta orgullosa de que lo damos todo en el campo”, sentenció Xavi al ser preguntado sobre cuál será su legado como técnico del conjunto azulgrana.
