Guanacaste, CR – El gerente de la Asociación Deportiva Guanacasteca habló acerca de cuánto cobró el club por la venta de Erick Torres a Herediano.

El mercado de pases tuvo algunos movimientos destacados para darle competitividad a la liga costarricense. Un traspaso confirmado tuvo una disputa fuerte de Liga Deportiva Alajuelense con Herediano.

La figura que cambió de bando fue Erick Torres. El mexicano fue el goleador de la Asociación Deportiva Guanacasteca en su primer torneo en el club. Eso derivó en que poderosos equipos lo buscaran.

Herediano fue a fin de cuentas el equipo que se hizo del jugador para el próximo torneo. En las últimas horas, el director de Asociación Deportiva Guanacasteca confirmó a Diario Extra el monto recibido. De acuerdo con la palabra de Yosimar Arias, el traspaso se completó por una cifra superior a los 100,000 dólares.

Torres fue la figura de su equipo

Era de esperarse que los clubes fuertes de la liga fueran a contratar al jugador por su rendimiento. Lo que más destacó en su corto paso por la Asociación Deportiva Guanacasteca es su poder de gol que tanto aportó.

La manera de competir de Torres fue un punto vital para que su equipo concluyera quinto en Costa Rica, con el delantero siendo el mejor de la alineación al convertir la valiosa suma de 10 goles a pesar de perderse algunos partidos.

Arias comentó cómo se dieron las discusiones en torno a la venta: “El fútbol hoy en día es un negocio y desde que yo empecé a hablar con el ‘Cubo’, las cosas fueron claras. El objetivo era que Guanacasteca ganara tanto como el jugador, las dos partes salimos satisfechas.”

Arias también dio su punto de vista acerca de lo que significa para un club modesto realizar una transferencia de este calibre al que no están acostumbrados: “En la ADG nunca se había vendido un jugador y menos por ese monto.”
