Julian Gressel se une al Inter Miami de Lionel Messi

Miami, EEUU – El internacional estadounidense Julian Gressel se incorporará al Inter Miami de la MLS que encabeza Lionel Messi, anunció el equipo de Florida.

“Estoy encantado de unirme a una organización tan ambiciosa como Inter Miami para este nuevo capítulo de mi carrera. Estoy listo para trabajar y aprovechar mi experiencia en esta liga para ayudar a mis nuevos compañeros de equipo y a este gran club a lograr su sueño de ganar más títulos”, dijo el centrocampista en un comunicado.

Gressel, que debutó el año pasado y suma ya seis partidos con la selección de Estados Unidos, ha firmado un contrato hasta el final de la temporada 2026 con opción a un año más.

De 30 años, Gressel, ganó el año pasado la MLS Cup con el Columbus Crew.

Fue su segundo trofeo de la MLS Cup, ya que en 2018 también conquistó esta competición con el Atlanta United que entrenaba el argentino Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino, quien será de nuevo su técnico en el Inter Miami.

Con Messi como referente, el Inter Miami anunció en diciembre la incorporación del delantero uruguayo Luis Suárez, amigo y excompañero del argentino en el Barcelona.

Messi y Suárez no son los dos únicos futbolistas con pasado en el Barça ya que en el conjunto de rosa también juegan los españoles Sergio Busquets y Jordi Alba.
